Biography:
Everett Thomas, better known as Synch, was a mutant member of the Generation X team in Marvel Comics. His primary ability allowed him to mimic the powers and even skills of other mutants or individuals in his vicinity.
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Everett's powers manifested during a conflict involving the mutant Emplate. Recruited by Banshee and Emma Frost, he joined Generation X, learning to control and refine his abilities at their Massachusetts Academy.
Synch was often portrayed as the pragmatic and grounded member of the team, acting as a level-headed presence amidst the often-volatile personalities of his teammates. He developed close bonds with several members, particularly Jubilee and Monet St. Croix.
Tragically, Synch died heroically saving his teammates from a bomb set by a human supremacist. His sacrifice cemented his legacy as a selfless and powerful mutant. Though gone, his influence on Generation X and his potential as an Omega-level mimic remain significant in the Marvel Universe. He was recently resurrected during the Krakoan era.
